Crispy Panko Coated Chicken Wings

Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Cooking Time: 30 minutes

Serve: 4 people

Ingredients

  • 2 bowls – a small one for the eggs and a larger one for the panko
  • 1 or 2 eggs, beaten lightly (depending on the quantity of wings you are preparing
  • 1 or 2 eggs, beaten lightly (depending on the quantity of wings you are preparing
  • PANKO Bread Crumb Mix – I add a little salt and pepper to the panko crumbs and mix it in prior to coating the wings.
  • Optional: Marinades – whatever you prefer
  • 1 – 2 lbs of wings

Preparation

Optional: I like to put the wings in a spicy marinade over night (or a couple of hours – experiment with the times to suit your own taste) Directions Dip wings in beaten egg to coat, letting excess drip off. Roll wings in Panko (I use a fork to roll them around in the crumbs. Place wings in a single layer in the Actifryer pan (do not stack a second layer). Remove the agitator for the first portion of cooking, otherwise the Panko just gets agitated off the wings. Place in ActiFry and cook for 6-10 minutes, flip the wings, cook for 6-10 minutes, then install the agitator and cook another 10 -15 minute or until the wings are crispy and nicely browned. (Drumettes are larger and took a little longer to cook. Times might be in the lower 6 minute ranges for wings only or a wing drummer mix.) ENJOY
