Ingredients
- 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil
- 2 diced links (6 ounces) pre cooked Italian style chicken sausage
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 small cloves of garlic diced
- 2 15.5 oz cans of cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup low sodium chicken broth
- 4 cups of escarole coarsley chopped
- 2 tsp chopped sage
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes
- 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
Place the oil and sausage in the ActiFry pan. Cook for 8 minutes until sausage is browned on all sides. Add the onions and garlic and cook until onions are tender (another 8 minutes). Add the beans, broth, escarole, sage, salt and chili flakes. Cook an additional 15 minutes, unitl mixture has thickened. Divide among 4 bowls and garnish each with 1 ActiFry spoon of cheese.
