Sweet and Sour Pork

Serve: 4 people


  • 1 lb 5 oz pork tenderloin, trim med of fat, cut into strips
  • 1 ActiFry spoon corn flour (+ extra for coating)
  • 4 ActiFry spoons red wine
  • 10 fl oz tomto sauce or passata
  • 1 ActiFry spoon tomato paste or tomato puree
  • 5 fl oz unsweetend apple juice
  • 2 ActiFry spoons brown sugar
  • 2 sliced onions
  • 2 cloves finely chopped garlic (optional)
  • 2 ActiFry spoons red wine vinegar
  • 2 ActiFry spoons low-fat olive oil
  • salt and freshly ground pepper to taste


1. In a bowl, mix 1 spoonful corn flour with the red wine until smooth, then add the tomato sauce, apple juice, vinegar, sugar, tomato paste and seasoning, mixing well. Set aside.__ 2.Coat the meat lightly in corn flour in another dish. Set aside. 3. Put the onions in the ActiFry, then pour the olive oil evenly over them. Cook for 5 minutes.__ 4.Add the pork and the garlic, if desired. Cook for another 5 minutes. 5. Stir the pork to separate the pieces and then add to the sweet and sour sauce. Cook for 10 more minutes, until the pork is tender and the sauce thick. Stop the ActiFry once during the cooking to stir the meat with a wooden spoon. 6. Adjust the seasoning to taste and serve with rice or mashed potatoes and green vegetables or sautéed cabbage.
