  • 4 PEARS CLEANED AND HALVED OR CANNED NO JUICE
  • TABLESPOON OF PEAR JUICE
  • 1 DIBBLE OF SAFFRON-THE SIZE OF A NEEDLE HEAD- LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY
  • 1/4 CUP HONEY
  • 1 CUP GREEK YOGURT

Preparation

PUT PEARS IN, BROWN THEM SOFTENING BROWNING THEM, CARMALIZED FOR 5 MINUTES MEANWHILE MIX YOGURT HONEY AND SAFFRON, ADD MIX IN- 5 MORE MINUTES- ADD A SPRINKLE OF CINNAMON AND IF YOU REALLY LIKE TOASTED NUTS. JUICE JUST IN CASE SAUCE IS TOO THICK NOT NEEDED..CINNAMON AND NUTS OPTIONAL TOO- BUT USE FRESH CINNAMON
